Cameroon forward Benjamin Moukandjo has disclosed that they will nurse no fear for Algeria ahead of the teams' 2018 World Cup qualifier later tonight in Blida, Algeria.
Algeria and Cameroon are the two top teams favoured to win the group B ticket. Both sides are in form and full of confidence after enjoying excellent qualification campaigns for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
"We have a lot of respect for Algeria, but we do not fear them at all," the Lorient attacker told El Heddaf TV in the build-up to the match.
"We will have before us some very good players with excellent individual qualities, but they will come up against a formidable team." The 27-year-old added, "It is a pleasure to play these games with the national team. I hope we will have the desired result."
Algerian midfielder Sofiane Feghouli said the game will be a tough one.
"We know it will be a great game facing Cameroon team, one of the great African nations," Feghouli said
"All its players play in Europe. This will certainly be a very balanced match. But we have a little experience behind us and we will try to use it. Anyway, we know what to expect."
